2FA – Waterford Faculty

Two factor authentication will help secure your account and decrease the chance for someone else to login and gain access to your account/information. Please follow the instructions below to enable two factor authentication.

Enabling 2FA

Once 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) is turned on for your account you will get this message when signing in. You will be asked to setup your 2FA method immediately. Click “Begin Setup” to begin.

You will be asked to select your primary method for two factor authentication. We recommend that you choose the OneLogin Protect app. It is the easiest to use.

Select “OneLogin Protect” as your primary method.

On your phone go to either the App Store or the Google Play store, depending on what type of phone you have, and install “OneLogin Protect”. Once you have installed the app click “Activate”.

You will then open the app and scan the QR code to link your phone as the second authentication method for your account. You will then be logged into OneLogin.
